A Terrible Experience That Ruined What Should Have Been a Celebration

What was meant to be a joyful and memorable celebration turned into an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience that left a lasting bad taste for everyone involved. We were a large group of over 35 people and had carefully selected our food choices from a wide and extensive menu well in advance, hoping to avoid any logistical issues and to ensure a smooth, enjoyable evening.

To be fair, the service staff on the floor were courteous and efficient. There were enough servers present, and they did their best to attend to the guests’ needs throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the major breakdown occurred in the kitchen. While the appetizers were served promptly, the situation with the main courses was a complete disaster.

We had ordered two different main dishes as part of the agreed menu. The first main course was served a full 45 minutes after the appetizers, by which time many of our guests were already becoming visibly restless and uncomfortable. Worse still, the second main dish never arrived. Even 20 minutes after the first main course had been served, there was still no sign of it. The delay was so unreasonable that we had no choice but to cancel it altogether — a completely unacceptable outcome for a pre-planned group event.

To make matters worse, we experienced a security incident during the evening. Some personal belongings were taken from members of our group. Initially, the management handled the situation very poorly, dismissing our concerns and implying that we were exaggerating the issue to negotiate a discount on our bill. It was only after security camera footage was reviewed that it was confirmed that a group of other patrons had indeed taken property belonging to our guests. Even with this evidence, the management never properly acknowledged their mishandling of the incident nor made a sincere effort to take responsibility or offer a meaningful apology.

The combination of a severely delayed meal service, the mishandled security issue, and the dismissive attitude of the management left us deeply disappointed and regretful for having chosen this venue for what was meant to be a happy and memorable occasion. This experience has left a lasting negative impression on all of us, and I would strongly caution others against hosting special events at this...

Very nice place. Good location to visit especially if you like wine. During the visit you will have a tour and after - a degustation. We tried 4 different types of wine, my most favourites are white wine and red reserve. Also you can have some food during the degustation. But this is not a restaurant, so the food is not for a complete and full dinner, but mostly as an addition to the degustation. Will visit...

Van Ardi Winery is a heavenly beautiful place with amazing events, gorgeous views and divine wine. We were at Otros Aires tango concert and at Katil Band concert and both evenings were unbelievably special and memorable. The owner’s wife is one of the most adorable and humble people I have ever met and she’s extremely hospitable. I absolutely love this place and will definitely keep attending...
