nice place, but try avoiding the crowds we could not figure out how to get there, so took a tour by 4x4. You need to bargain a little. We paid 24 euros, and the driver seemed to be happy about the deal. At the end it is easy to find, try to locate a large warehouse on the bank of the lake, park the car there and hike the rest. Watch out for the crazy 4x4 tour drivers. There will be two pools, first tiny one with a cold water, second with a warm water. It is nice to chill out once you are alone there. The hot water springs near Jermuk are well worth visiting. Prepare for a 1- to 2-hour hike from the waterreservoir in Jermuk. The path is op hill in the beginning, but after 1 km it is flooded in many places. Take off your shoes, or jump from boulder to boulder with good mountaineering boots. Halfway there is a sign with 'beware, bears in the area'. Follow along the stream until the hot water well. You will encounter bubbling water at some places.
