We participated in the Chaprl Hill tasting yesterday and to say I was disappointed was an understatement! I booked the Chapel Hill tasting and as advertised it should have been in the tasting room in the Chapel( which was the reason we booked this tasting)but instead we were in the atrium. The Chapel Hill tasting advertises that we can choose our own tasting based on our preferred taste( another reason we booked) only to find we had no choice and a mixed tasting was already set up. When asked if there was any food I could buy ie. some cheese or almonds to accompany the wine to enhance the flavour I was told " no" and when asked if i could buy a bottle 1 minute before closing I was also told that it had closed. No explanations were given around each wine, interesting facts, where the vines were situated etc instead the wine was named and poured and that was all. In attendance in our group yesterday was a 2024 Aria award nominee, a Military officer, various professional people,(some from interstate) and musicians and students all of whom are creative and talented and enjoy learning about and drinking wine. The experience we had at Chapel Hill was disappointing, although we loved looking through the stunning Chapel- the only hilight for me! We came from another winery just before our experience with you and to say it was a different experience was an understatement. They went above and beyond in every way. I sadly would not recommend the Chapel...

An amazing experience in a beautiful setting! I had the pleasure of attending a private tasting & tour of the Chapel Hill Winery, built around the original Methodist Church established in 1854.

After meeting Michael Fragos the Chief Wine Maker who has spent a passionate 15 years in developing their incredible wines, I have a new respect for the Brand..... Chapel Hill. Listening to Michael speak, it is clear he is dedicated to creating fine wine and committed to sustainability. The process involved ensures the wine is Vegan friendly catering to an ever growing demand.

Dylan, an Assistant Wine Maker was very informative, showing me the various techniques that are used.

I highly recommend you visit this Winery in McClaren Vale and delight in the tastings on offer.... You will be pleasantly surprised!

We had the absolute best time at our wedding. We initially started our planning with Marianne but she stood down and Hope took over, she was an absolute delight. Nothing was too much much trouble for her, and she completely understood the vibe of wedding we were going for. Hope went above and beyond for us and it made me feel so much more secure on the day as I knew Hope and her team had literally everything under control. I have heard from multiple of my guests that it was the best wedding they have ever attended and this wouldn’t have been possible without the vigilant work of the chapel hill staff, and of course the sublime catering from the salopian inn! If I could re-live my wedding day over and over I would, and I would never get sick of it.

Thank you for having such a wonderful Venue and amazing support staff to back the...

This winery set in the McLaren Vale region has a beautiful look to it and the aroma of current wine being made filled the air as we arrived. Wine - the wine was good and we have experienced this wine before attending here so it was good to see the location of it's origin. The 10yr Tawny is a definite must. Had to purchase a bottle before leaving. It appeared to be quite popular amongst the group as well. Service - I can't quite give this a top rating as the person delivering the background of the wines did not appear too passionate about it. It felt quite superficial and rushed. Sadly this contributed to a single purchase here only. Location - very clean and welcoming and the architecture was reminiscent of the name - Chapel Hill.
