Greenfields Wetlands — Attraction in Adelaide

Dirty, noisy and barren. Signs of seedy human life had been left lying all over the place (beer bottles, rubbish etc). Out in the distant water it looks like a nice location for the swans and pelicans and reside here, but as a place to visit I must advice against it for the time being if you are looking for a quiet refuge.

Entry from Magazine Road: There is lot of water, vegetation and birds close to the highway but the roadside it is full of litter. A decent path leads to the bird hide, through dried up salt lakes and samphire. We will try again during winter to see the promised wading birds, there are better options this time...

Fantastic area for bird watching. There was a huge array of birdlife to be seen with an easy, relatively flat path to walk along.
