We had the most incredible experience at Lloyd Brothers, and we cannot recommend it highly enough! From the breathtaking ceremony setting to the flawless reception, every moment was truly magical.

Our reception was absolutely perfect in every way. The attention to detail was impeccable—from the meticulously aligned tables to the polished cutlery and gleaming glassware, everything was set to perfection. The team ensured that every element was executed flawlessly, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere that elevated the entire evening.

The setting itself was nothing short of breathtaking. With the reception space overlooking the serene lake, we and our guests were treated to an unparalleled view as the sun set, casting a golden glow over the water. The ambiance was pure magic, and when it came time for the firework show, the location provided the perfect vantage point. Watching the fireworks reflect over the lake with our loved ones around us was an unforgettable highlight of the night.

The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring that our guests were well taken care of throughout the evening. The entire experience felt seamless and luxurious, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy our celebration.

Mark was, without a doubt, the heart and soul of our wedding planning experience. He was the main reason we chose Lloyd Brothers, and looking back, we truly could not have done it without him. From start to finish, he kept Aleisha and me calm, organised, and stress-free.

One moment that really stood out was when we realised, on the way to the venue, that we had forgotten our Polaroid camera for our guest book. I called Mark around 3:00 PM, and while Aleisha was understandably upset, his immediate response was, "All good, I'll get it all sorted." Just hearing that reassurance was exactly what we needed—and, in true Mark fashion, by the time we arrived, a brand-new Polaroid camera was waiting for our guests to use.

His dedication, resourcefulness, and genuine care went far beyond our...

I have visited Lloyd Brothers cellar door year after year for many years. I started going when the wine wasn't all the great and they matured into great wine. I have always had great service and enjoyed my time at the cellar door. My husband and I also bought wine from Lloyd Brothers for our wedding guests. However, recently when visiting with friends from Brisbane I was embarrassed and a shamed to be have recommended this cellar door. My friends who have never been to McClaren Vale or heard of Lloyd Brothers were pressured by me to go and tastes the wines and experience what I have loved about LB. The drive in was beautiful, the weather was great, the sign outside said "Cellar door open, come in for a tasting". We were then rudely greeted by a lady with shirt white hair who only said, "What are you doing here?". Taken back by this I asked if we could do a tasting, which we were responded by, we are not doing tastings today, you can purchase a glass of wine and sit outside. One of my friends then jumped in and responded that we would be leaving and go somewhere else. There was clearly 2 gentlemen doing a tasting, who to be honest looked like they were there to buy a failing business. If there was something private happening, put a closed sign out the front at your entrance. I had even called a few weeks before to confirm that LB was open and doing tastings and I was told yes they were. To confirm, we were a group of 4 at our second tasting for the day, it's not like we were a big group or drunk on our last stop for the day. Unfortunately, this has done it for me and my love for LB, I prefer to support small business and McClaren Vale has so many more cellar doors with a better attitude. My recommendation for any visitors to the area, just skip this cellar door, there are so many more amazing places and...

Title: Avoid Lloyd Brothers Winery - A Disgrace to McLaren Vale!I'm seething with frustration after my recent visit to Lloyd Brothers Winery in McLaren Vale. Where do I even begin? From the moment I walked in, it was evident that customer satisfaction was the last thing on their minds. The staff? Don't even get me started. They were rude, indifferent, and seemed to despise the very idea of providing service. It's as if they were doing me a favor by allowing me to taste their lackluster wines.Speaking of which, let's talk about their wines – or should I say, swill? The flavors were dull, uninspired, and downright offensive to my palate. It's astounding that they have the audacity to slap a price tag on such low-quality products. And don't even get me started on the ambiance. The tasting room looked like it hadn't been updated since the Dark Ages. The atmosphere was about as inviting as a dentist's waiting room, minus the magazines. But here's the real kicker – the prices. Are they kidding me? Charging top dollar for wines that wouldn't even pass muster at a budget supermarket? It's insulting and frankly, unacceptable. In summary, Lloyd Brothers Winery is a disgrace to McLaren Vale. Save yourself the headache, the disappointment, and the insult to your taste buds. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Trust me, you'll...

Splendid wines, service and atmosphere! $10 tasting for 6 wines where the fee is waivered if you purchase bottles of wine. 10% off your purchase for 2 or more bottles 😊 Customer service was hospitable, friendly and knowledgable about their wines. We loved the Picpoul, Nouveau and Shiraz. Very relaxing to sit outside and enjoy a $30 tasting platter of their home grown produce, including tasty olives, olive pesto and olive oil 🫒 which you can also purchase to take away. You won't reget dropping in here when you're visiting McLaren Vale. They also have a winery in Adelaide Hills and you can taste some of those wines when you're in McLaren Vale 😊

We travelled to the McLaren Vale region last month and this was our first stop after driving to the region from the airport. The wines were lovely and the service was good (3 groups there when we were there, 1 staff). Chose this winery for the relaxing surrounds, tasting plates and to try the body care products. They all delivered as we hoped. Would have given a 5 star rating if the staff knew more about what was happening in the region for upcoming week..

We were recommended to visit Lloyd Bros by friends who had holidayed a week before us. It is a lovely, easy to find location, with a beautiful outside setting. Julien did a mini tasting of the Pilpoul whites (McLaren Vale versus Adelaide Hills) both delicious, and we settled on a glass each of their Picpoul Sparkling. Would have loved to spend longer here, and will certainly plan better next visit. Thanks Julien.
