Thorn-Clarke Wines — Attraction in Angaston

Thank you to everyone at Thorn-Clarke winery for making our wedding a truly magical day- we have had so many of our guests tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to! The location itself is simply stunning, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the 'main' part of the Barossa Valley, it provided a stunning outlook for our ceremony, numerous locations for our photos and an amazing space for reception (where we danced the night away under the stars). Sharyn, cellar door manager, was amazing to work with- she took away any stress, made fantastic, expert suggestions and was genuinely as excited as we were! Special shout out to Brooksy, vineyard manager (I think this is his official title!), who happily drove us to photo locations and was so lovely too. We had a heap of children at our wedding (actual and in spirit), so the lawn games and driving range were a huge hit- as were the hot chocolates! And, of course, the wine was fabulous- and didn't stop flowing! Thank you so much Sharyn and Thorn-Clarke Wines, you really made our day...

I could not recommend Thorn Clark Wines more highly! Both for a cellar door visit and for a function destination The people here are truly outstanding, lovely people!! They will go out of their way to make your experience or event perfect! We held my daughter’s 21st here and Shaz, the event manager, is so wonderful at her job… her attention to detail, her thoughtfulness, her willingness to create your vision. Shaz and her wonderful husband Guy were perfect hosts and all my guests were blown away by them! It is so beautiful there, the wines are delicious… they do platters and you can even have a hit of golf… ! John looked after us so well on our cellar door visits Everything is so lovely and has all the facilities you will need… but it’s the people that make it stand out from anywhere else! They couldn’t be more accommodating and wonderful …...

Barossa & Light Cab Service, Barossa's longest serving cab/taxis service, recommend Thorn-Clarke because it is a family owned and estate grown wines, which means that the wines here are nurtured from the vineyard to the bottle. This is a long serving 5 star James Haliday winery 2007 - 2016. The cellar door is open 9am-5pm and Sat & Sun 11am till 4pm.
