The map on google given was not the same so we had to u-turn to get to the correct place as the entrance was actually along the roadside. The lookout was the same place as sand blasting area so you might not be able to go if there are works in progress. Otherwise it's a gravel road all the way up and speed limit is 30km/hr. Lookout is far from the beach and sea so the view is not that fantastic. You can see a vast empty land surrounding it. You can still see the small town of Ardrossan with a population of about 1300. It was very windy during...

On my way to flaherty Beach, but then I saw the sign of a lookout strategically located. I had to do a U turn with my Volkswagen T cross 2021.

It is located beside the highway, so you want to be careful when you turn in. It is not asphalt road, so beware of potholes.

This is not a place where you purposely want to be there. It just looks like a proper lookout to take some cool pictures.

The weather is cold and windy by the time I was there. So, my experience may be different...

Breaktaking view to Ardrossan and glimpse of view to Adelaide Plains due to it's elevated position. It is also interesting to see quarry site. Don't miss out this place when you visit Ardrossan or Yorke Peninsula Only downside is that there is no facility at all even toilet, but it's ok because it is not a place to camp or spend...
