Granny's Pool — Attraction in Augusta

Granny's pool is a little hidden secret at the very end of the beach in Flinders. First there are the toilets and the swings near the jetty in the car park. Further down there is a pathway to a pool of seawater which is protected by The rocks. It's very safe for swimming here. It is good for the children too, there is no undertow. Please enjoy your stay in our town Augusta and remember to take your rubbish with you and only leave your footprints for us to find....

Absolutely random drive thru to this place. Nice neighbourhood nice houses, awesome views, it's just like a postcard. People swimming too. But don't swim out there where the waves and currents are strong!

Even if u just drive through, park your car there its fine to just watch the ocean in your car. Or there's a bench on the right to chill out and look out for whales if you have the time. Take care of it though, it's a memorial for a mum...

The water was not as calm as I had expected. Most people jumping off the end of the jetty to swim to the pontoon were under 25. The water was definitely on the coolish side this summer. A lot of seaweed in the water near shore. Small beach area only. Trees growing very close to the waters edge, fringing the beach, is welcome on a hot day. Looks like a popular...
