After 7 long hours of driving due to roads cut by floods, arriving at Just Red Wines on sunset was a dream come true. A huge double rainbow framed the vineyard, and our host Julia gave us the warmest of welcomes and a sensational tasting. The stress of the day just peeled off us as we drove through the property gates. Even though we were late, Julia was more than happy to accommdate us, and had firewood ready at the cabin (hard to believe, 16 degrees at night in February!)||||We were on a work trip, and expecting budget accommodation, these cabins are very reasonably priced, especially outside fo Friday and Saturday nights. Walking into the cabin, we were absolutely thrilled with the standard of accommdation. It felt brand new, huge windows overlooking granite boulders and bush, the vineyard, enormous super king bed, well-equipped kitchen, fireplace, and immaculately clean. Read moreThe wines are not overpriced. Easy drinking. The cabin for our weekend stay had everything you needed and more. A nice touch having wine, cheese and crackers in the cabin. Lovely walk around the granite outcrop behind the cabin. We'd recommend going in the late afternoon with your wine and cheese and watching the sunset from the other side of the hill. The only negative for the cabin was the AC was extremely noisy, but we needed it due to the wintry weather as we couldn't keep the fire...
