Ahh, the serenity. The day i visited, it was very tranquil, apart from visits from the local magpies chasing food. They were fairly quiet, though. I'd be very surprised if this place isn't inundated with visitors during summer.

Nice place to visit, tried some fishing there but no luck. Apparently alot of carp reside there. Heaps of parking with shady spots... good spot to stretch the legs or take a rest from driving

It's expansive!! A beautiful lake spread across more than 550 hectares. Ample parking spots and easy access for boats and trailers. Kids can play safely near water.

Beautiful place and with all the rain the dam it is full. Love going swimming there. Lots of boat and skiing and fishing surrounded by mountains, lovely parking area...
