A free, lakeside rest area for self-contained vehicles in between Renmark and Cadell with a small gravel/dirt sloping camping area and numerous sandy campsites adjacent to the lake with limited facilities.

Time and Cost: Free camp (72 hours +).

Access: a few km off the Goyder Highway with a sealed road to the camping area.

Facilities: sloping gravel/dirt camping area near boat ramp, sandy camp areas around the lake (4WD needed for access). A single, flushing toilet but no bins, water or dump point.

Ambiance: quiet and serene with little road noise mid-week. Fires allowed.

Excellent location with beautiful lake views, serene and peaceful with magnificent sunrises...

If you are night photographer, a lot of dead trees there to be foreground for you to captured milky way rising over dead trees and lake, just a bit light pollution over...
