Was a bit sceptical at first as my original thought was that it was going to expensive for what it was. On the contrary as I soon found out. Upon arrival we were given a brochure/ map of the park containing a checklist of particular things you could find on your visit . This made the actual park walk longer than it would've been just by simply walking the tracks. (Think of it as a hidden object game.) The mini golf was a great addition and adds something extra to do which is great for the dads (or mums) that enjoy a bit of competition with their kids.
The lego room capture my husband and sons attention and it was amazing to see lego pieces from the past.
If I had to say anything negative about the park, it would be that the Cafe did not have much of a selection or maybe just call me picky. I would recommend though packing a picnic as you will be here for sometime if you arrive before lunch.
Another negative if I had to point them out, is that there was no shade cloth over the playground area. (There were poles intended for shade cloth but the cloth was absent. It could be that as its just coming into the warmer months, the owners haven't put it back up? As I said, its not a big issue I'm just nit picking.)
All in all for a family of 4 it was a great day out. The gentleman upon exit was very friendly too. He made discussing the answers to the hidden object game enjoyable. Especially when the answer to the 1 question I got wrong was outside his window...

Read moreIt's a truly amazing place to spend time with the whole family! We absolutely loved every bit of it! The trains, miniature river and floating miniature boats and duckies were a great success with our children. They also loved the playground, the mini golf and the games area: the carts, hockey, badminton and all other games that were there (quite a few!). And, of course, the hedge maze! The tearoom was gorgeous. However, I'd like to suggest a few improvements: The teapots for two are really small. We asked the staff for some hot water refill and it confused them. They did their best and brought some hot water on the side but we sensed it was not a common practice. Please, fix this issue 🙏 P.S. the tea was exceptionally good quality and is highly recommended! It would be great to see how sweet each cake is. Any primitive scale would do. When I asked the staff what cake had the least amount of sugar they offered me gluten free muffins :) Now I can confidently say that the baked cheesecake tastes lighter on sugar than the chocolate mudcake (this one is really heavily loaded!). Everything else was simply perfect. The staff were super friendly and the general atmosphere of the place was wonderful. Thank you for...
