Great walk. A bit boggy in parts due to a recent rainy period so boots rather than joggers would have been better, but we got through it. After rain there will be more of the waterfall to see of course, so it's a great time to go. We didn't see much signage indicating the be length of the trails -either from the lookout to the waterfall or from the waterfall onwards. We walked for about an hour and a half but we don't know where we were or how many kilometres. There is phone reception so you can see your rough location on Google maps though. Absolutely gorgeous waterfall and a couple of smaller trickle-falls. Plenty of interesting fungi and plants. We heard some lovely birdsongs and presumed thumpings of a rock wallaby, but didn't see any wildlife other than a few insects. The flora changes to a lush green down near the waterfall and it's got that rainforest feel to it. Some steps, pretty well kept, but take care, particularly to the right of the waterfall where the stones are covered with slippery wet...

It was a day in July and so cold weather because of the height and the season. We were 4 people in a car. You have to drive 120+ km to reach there from Sydney City. There is a 2 km off road drive from the main road. The first half of the road is unsealed road with quite a bit of potholes and the second half of the road is unsealed road. It's alright for a 2WD car but need to be careful at a few bumps towards the end.
Very limited parking you have. After carpark its just a 150 metres of flat bushwalk (hardly 1 metre elevation gain via 3-4 stair steps). But the breahtaking views makes it...

Perched on a rugged escarpment, this hidden gem provides a peaceful escape with sweeping vistas of deep valleys, forested slopes, and dramatic cliffs.
A short walk from the parking area leads to the lookout, making it an easily accessible spot for visitors seeking a tranquil nature experience. However, the path to the lookout is a bit off-track, with some potholes along the way, so it's important to drive carefully. Ideal for photography, picnics, or simply soaking in the scenery, Manning Lookout is a must-visit for anyone exploring...
