Great spot for a brief walk in the trees, to take some photos or to have a picnic with a camp-fire (when permitted, BYO firewood). The walk is not for exercise, you could walk the tree trail in 10 minutes and it's fairly accessible (nothing too steep and no steps). Road in and out from main road (from Laurel Hill and Batlow) was in good condition when we went - blue gravel with a few small potholes, just drive to conditions and not too fast and you'll be fine, and be prepared to turn back if it gets too tough (conditions would change quickly after extensive heavy rain, noting that the road is used a lot by logging trucks and 4WDs). Currently ok for all types of vehicles except lowered sports cars. We saw brumbies on the road going out via Batlow!

It is a shame to see a vast part of the forest destroyed by the bush fire. Still then there remains a part of the forest where you can go for a stroll through the cool, calamity of the forest. You can also explore around here where you'll bump into a great view of Batlow.

It is a absolutely beautiful place! You will be surrounded by all the beautiful pine trees and also wasp... unfortunately The toilet is pretty clean, big area to picnic or browse around. There are two short walks nearby Lots of scriptures! Must visit!

Google Maps doesnt work in this area just for whoever wants to go here. IF your car is 4x4 then it would be fine, a bit of dirt road for fun. If not, regardless of which way you go in, your fwd will always be pointed to a dirt track in order to get out of this forest. Our car got stuck on the way out and we need rescue service. The city here should have some sort of warnings regarding this. We spoke to local police and were told we werent the first one ! Drive up :4/10 Attraction: 5/10 Way out:...
