Very green forest with plenty cool of trails, the one that we went on went by a creek that and also has some old mining equipment as well on the side of a track, was a pretty interesting find. Was a bit wet when we went but still a nice time, might be better off going in the spring or on a not so rainy day. Overall nice park, would recommend going during spring or a warm winter day.

Relaxed, easy bush walk which is dog friendly (on leash). Good marking of the trail if you go in the intended direction. We got a bit lost as we wanted to combine green and red track in a figure of 8. Next time I also will wear hiking boots as the gravel and lots of gumnuts were not so pleasant on my feet.

Plenty of parking at the carpark off Albany highway. Slight incline on the walk up. Wide, clear main trail. Signs with maps of various walk trails. Slightly smaller, but still clear walk trails once further inside the park. On our first visit we even saw an echidna! Plenty of birdlife and wildflowers.

Fantastic trails just at the back of Mt Richon on Albany Hwy just past Bedford-dale hill rd Popular spot though you wouldn’t think so as you seldom see anyone I believe there are about 4 trails with varying distances for those who like to spend more time for fitness and taking in the nature the trails are pretty flat and hardly a challenge but gravel of course and the odd gum it so be careful don’t rush Wildflowers are out and what a show Take your camera or phone but be ready because you’d regret not getting some stunning pics Worth mentioning the car park is not in good condition and extremely hazardous but once your past the gate...

One of the best places to walk in the regional Perth area, just a shame the local council doesn't provide decent parking to access the park. What little parking is provided is either washed out and highly dangerous to get in and out from a busy highway or is not visible from the main road, which results in your car window being smashed and any...
