This is one of the best beaches in Jervis Bay! 3km walk or paddle from Honeymoon Bay gets you to one of the most pristine beaches you'll ever see. The medium distance means you can often get this paradise like spot to yourself. Be sure to check that the area is open before visiting though!!!!! The Beecroft Peninsula is typically only open weekends and school holiday but even then you should still check via the Beecroft Ranger Station Facebook page or phone number. Otherwise it's a long drive from Huskisson/Vincentia if you arrive and it's closed :)

This Cove is great! The water is clear, calm sheltered from the wind and full of great sea critters. Good beach for the little ones. We saw Ray's loads of fish a big wobby and out on the point some sharks very exciting. The ship wreck is a great curiosity to have a look at but be sure to bring shoes. Only down side is the littl walk to get there, not a hard walk though so didn't mind it even with full snorkelling gear.

This place has such a lovely! From the gorgeous white sand beach, fabulous waves and rocky Mimi-cliffs this place is just stunning! There is also views of a boat which appears to have crashed on the rocks some time ago. Walk itself is a nice easy 5km from the Honeymoon Bay Car Park. There are no picnic tables or facilities at Silica Cove. Certainly worth a look in if your in the area!

Parked near Honeymoon Bay and walked the approximately 8km round trip to visit Silica Cove. The walk itself was pretty simple, nothing too hard, however the mosquitoes were out and about in force. Also be on the watch for snakes, we noticed one at the last second in a bush by our feet (as in, right by our feet!) as we walked past - lucky for us it stayed put. The Cove is really pretty and of course the ship wreck was a very cool addition. Take plenty of water and you'll have...
