Ocean Reef Boat Harbour — Attraction in Beldon

Quiet peaceful lovely. Pleasant afternoon in a pleasant location. Well set out ,with small park and toilets . Children really enjoyed their play there . Only thing :, signs say ' no dogs ' ,and there were at least 4 dogs ; two on leashes ,and ,two roaming free , with their owners. One older gentleman ( by himself and driving ) , drinking beer . and his dog running free and thru the dunes which i think is supposed to be a bit of a sanctuary for the wildlife . He didn't go and clean up after his dog either...

Great boat ramp with plenty of parking and a Marina coming soon.

Only downside were the toilets/facilities which need some attention with light switches being smashed off the wall and cabled exposes.

Thankfully they had a functioning toilet and handbasin with hand wash soap available.

The door also locked sufficiently.

There is also a grass area between the toilets and boat ramp and plenty of trees for shade.

The general population are kind and friendly and the process for launching and retrieval is...

A nice little harbour for exploring with kids. It has great herring fishing in the mornings. Theres a really cool and narrow wooden jetty you can walk on and drop in a line with your kids on the inside of the marina where its really sheltered or you can fish the ocean side. Great boat launching facilities and nice beaches to the north. I recommend coming here before the new development starts as its one of the few remaining undeveloped marinas...
