Martin's Bend Reserve — Attraction in Berri

Great for road travellers but don’t try pulling up in a dingy. No care or concern. Called the rangers on us. Expect you to leave all your goods tied to the riverbank way out of sight of the camp area even after ringing the council to get permission to camp by the boat. Nice spot, limited facilities for overnighting.

BBQs on nicely grassed river bank, pelicans and other water birds.

V close to town, Coles, Woolies and Aldi.

Berri has a bit going for it.

Now you have to check in with a QR code and pay via internet, not nearly as good as pay cash when you arrive, especially if you don't have a smart phone.

Reasonable price although we found the booking system (u have to pre-book/scan a code) difficult as not everyone has access to this technology+ for $10 for one nite it really could be cash especially for a 12 hour stopover on a long drive home.
