Wine is reasonable, we went on Sat long weekend, many people there for jazz band. Staff are friendly, a little reluctant to serve our adult group of six, also didnāt sell the wine well did not know much about the wine. And they only had 2 reds. They lost as we went to another winery and spent about $500. Jazz band ok and winery has a good atmosphere hence the 2 star rating.
8 july, Just replying to the response i got from the owner. I tried to speak to the owners, they were serving at the time, i came back 10 minutes later and they were with the same group. but waited another 10 minutes and i gave up.
If I can assist you, as i customer, and on a busy day like that day, you had only one area that serves wine tasting, and people standing, the other areas was the casher who was free the whole time i was there and the owners chatting away. I don't mean to be flippant, but i do a lot of reviews and I'm very reluctant to giving people bad reviews but when they deserve it, and they try deter me away and say "talk to us instead of going to the internet" well you should first take constructive criticism and improve on your business instead of trying to discourage my poor rating of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeautiful place with a calm atmosphere. I tasted both their sparkling chardonnay and Pinot noir. And they were amazing. The staff was friendly too.
But, I feel they can improve on some stuff, especially the food. When I have a glass of wine in a winery, I personally don't expect it to be accompanied by Vietnamese street food. Even though the food was tasty and good value for money, it's just not an great overall experience. I know they serve pizzas on long weekend Sunday's, but I'm sure lot of customers would love to have a slice of pizza with a glass of wine, on any fine day.
The furniture can def undergo an upgrade. Especially when you have three plates of food and glasses of wine, it gets really wobbly. We were afraid we might break the glasses.
I would love to visit the place again, cause the wine is amazing. But few things...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDo not bring your dog here. Despite numerous previous reviewers confirming that this cellar door was dog friendly and our own note to them that we were bringing our dog, when we arrived we were turned away by an extremely rude and unpleasant woman (I wish Iād gotten her name - working at noon on Saturday 28 November). Not only was she not in the least apologetic, she also became aggressive and refused when we requested a refund of the tasting fee we had paid online.
Turns out their new āno-dogsā policy is in their terms and conditions. Thatās all well and good, but for a cellar door that previously was so publicly dog friendly, you should really consider making this more prominent on your website. In any case, you should not get hostile with customers.
I for one will not be returning - with or...
