This This place, I think, is underrated. I hadn't really heard of it. Two really big swimming areas are connected by a channel that takes you through it faster than Bitter Springs. Fish in the bottom pool are amazing and quite large. Really need a snorkel and goggles. Water is almost crystal clear. You can get a massage from the waterfall like Vivienne or duck behind it, too. Water is warmest near waterfall but still a nice temperature everywhere else. think is underrated. I hadn't really heard of it. Great place to cool off and swim. We go there every year when we come to Darwin. This time was in school holidays and it was so busy. Advisable to take Noodles or any sort of floating device as it is quite deep in parts. Abit cool when you get in, but nice when you get use to it. Warmer where the waterfall is.The steps are a little hard for elderly or disabled. But if you have someone to help you ,you would be all right. There are toilets, changerooms,a little kiosk, lots of BBQ and plenty of room for picnic's or the kids to run around. You need to get there early as the carport gets full and then they recommend to come back later when that happens....

A great swimming experience! There is no entry fees, water was clear and calm. There are 3 connected swimming areas, and is quite deep. There are pool noodles you can hire just before entering the 3 different swimming areas. The entry points of the swimming areas are hard, stone inlayed non slip entry ways, and rails and steps are there going into the water.

There are public toilets and barbecue areas available as you enter.

There is snacks and refreshments available at the kiosk where you hire the pool noodles and the parking area can accomodate a moderate number of cars. We went there on a Saturday just before lunch, and it was almost full, as we were leaving just after lunch, it was...

Berry Springs Nature Park is a fantastic destination for a day out. It offers a delightful blend of picnicking and swimming, making it perfect for families and nature enthusiasts. The crystal-clear waters are inviting, but be prepared for weekend crowds. To fully savor the tranquility, arriving early is advisable. The park's proximity, just a 50-minute drive from Darwin, is a major convenience. The lush surroundings and abundant wildlife create a serene ambiance, making it a must-visit spot for those seeking a quick nature escape from the city. Don't miss out on this gem in the Northern Territory.
