As of 7 January 2024, weeds are abundant and gas in the BBQ - not. Needs to have a bit of TLC by the custodians to rid the shores of Blackberry, Scotch Thistles and Patterson's Curse, as they're a bit out of control and make the place look and feel rundown, which it's really not, as there's no rubbish and mess generally speaking.
The toilets are composting toilets, and are generally left in good condition - but the BBQs have been left in a bit of a state and without gas, and there's no water at all at the area to clean them, which there could be with the great big covered area of about 200m2, so if guttering were on it, it could easily supply a tank of 20,000 galons, but inevitably it'd be vandalised, because some people are scum, and we can't have nice things.
As for the state of it - it's the tragedy of the commons, make people pay for going there and it'd stop the riff-raff and improve...
