A beautiful park tucked away behind Buxton. Some great views of the Nattai gorge. Be aware however that the National Parks and Wildlife service offline map on their app is incorrect to the starlight's trail. It's a different trail thats quite sparse and unmarked.

Great area for exploring. Amazing views at the different lookouts. Wollindilly has camping, We rode through the park to Wombeyan caves.

Good easy to medium walk to the Rocky Pools River lookout. Great view at the end.

Went there for some 4x4 it was amazing. Amazing views definately unmatched. The 4x4 experience wasn't too bad either. We took wombeyan caves road from Mittagong and exited it on Taralga Road. Very good 4x4 experience. Not too difficult, but we did it during rain so there were many water puddles and the creek crossings had some water flowing over them. Some parts of the trail were quite challenging and the ground was erupted. Definitely need a 4x4 (no sedans or AWDs) and need decent ground clearance as ruts can get pretty deep. You prolly couldn't do it in something like a Rav 4, but in a Fortuner it should be easy. Still it requires driver skill and experience as on one side is a cliff and other is a mountain. The track and variables sometimes force you to go too close to cliff or tilt your car a lot. I'd 100% recommend to those with a 4x4 to explore...

The Nattai National Park is south of the Blue Mountains and similar terrain. It is a beautiful area and a much more peaceful area to walk. However, it is less accessible. We did the Starlights trail which can only be accessed by car. There is no public transport that I know of neat the trail. The walk was good but the track is rough and I would grade it difficult. Overall though the walk was great and a good change from more...

The Nattai National Park provides access to great overnight bushwalks. One of the easiest is an overnight trip to the Nattai River along StarlightsTrack, and a harder one is a walk through to Katoomba in seven or so days. I general, campfires are permitted, provided there's not a Park Fire Ban or a...
