This is a tough one! The information sign at the start says its a 5 hour loop and it's a hard walk. We are both in our 20s, fit and healthy and managed it in 3 hours. But be warned, if it's raining or has been raining, there's a steep decline at the start which took us 45 mins to get down and 15 mins to get back up because it was so slippery and steeo.... so factor in a bit of clinging onto tree branches to get down! A good part of the middle the walk you'll be mostly along the flat (there's a composting toilet along the way) and won't see much of the views. To get up to the castle ruins, there's a steep incline for quite a while. Make sure you set off early to allow plenty of time for walking, it's definitely tough but...

The ruined castle walking track starts with really long stairs, which you go down. But, obviously, when you come back, you go up, and this is the hardest part of the track. Also, the last 600m to reach the ruined castle has a lot of stairs too, but not as many. Climbing the rocks of the ruined castle is challenging, but worth it. Just be very careful, and watch out for animals. The way between the stairs is really easy and beautiful! This is one of the most beautiful tracks we did! And it's for free!!! BTW, there was a lot of mud on the way. If possible wear...

It was closed for a landslide but now it's open track. Beautiful views and amazing experience. Indeed they are named as golden stairs when u go early morning literally looks like gold shining. Best walk. Although we thought it's a castle at the top but there's some rocks that look like castle ones mostly for rock climbers. But the best...

Excellent views, but bring good shoes. The trail provides a decent hike that will give a solid workout. Those massive stairs that start you off, are the ones you’re going to have to climb back up to finish! There are plenty of verticals near the end, be prepared to climb some bare rocks up. The journey is definitely worth it though.
