The lake is a little difficult to drive down to, through the town well worth a look. The lake is still because of the dam and is a bit stagnant. The reflections make up for the smell. The scenery is very beautiful and takes great photos. Would be interesting to see in other seasons.

This is a delightful place to visit. Excellent amenities including playground for children and bbq facilities. The walk around the lake was easy to accomplish in 40 easy-going minutes. You go through the dam - so get to see the inside, that alone makes this worthwhile!

A must go place when you are in Bright. This place in Bogong Village. Less crowded and more peaceful than the bright itself. The best time to go is the end of April or first half of May. The colours are brilliant.

Was a great walk and perfect sites, came across a black snake with a yellow belly literally half a metre from our feet it on the walking track around the lake. Be careful and wear proper inclosed shoes if walking around...
