We were excited to go to Vinifera - my sister and I had been previously so wanted to take our parents and partners there; however, a staff member was quite rude to our wine tour guide in front of us about moving tables (we moved as the bench was wet and there was dog poo). When our tour guide explained why we moved the staff member said that wherever we would sit we would smell the septic tank anyway. Not a pleasant start. We had 6 premium tastings for $15 each and were quite disappointed with the amount of wine we were poured (compared to the other wineries we visited and also only paid $5 for the tasting). The experience just wasn’t personal as no one explained to us about the wines we were trying - just told “the explanation is on the placement”. Unsure if the overall experience was disappointing because the staff member “taking care of us” was rude / didn’t have the care or passion like others we’d come across or Vinifera now just want to get guests in and out as it was quite busy. We didn’t want to purchase any wines after the experience unfortunately as it was unpleasant - shame as we were very much looking forward...

Absolutely horrible experience at this venue.

We had a group of about 8 of us who all purchased the premium package (which equals to $120+). The person who was meant to be serving and running my group through the wines was rude, undescriptive and just wanted us in and out.

After this person was so rude to my group and we figured he wouldn't be coming back to tell us anymore about the venue we tried to go and have a drink and enjoy the view. He then decided he would come out and yell at us for doing so.

After the underwhelming and off putting experience of dealing with this rude man our group decided to go to the Gin distillery next door which was one of the best experiences we had all trip.

I highly suggest this man goes into a different industry because I don't think hospitality is a good...

I visited Vinifera for a much needed weekend escape after Covid19 restrictions eased in June 2020. I love Vinifera's wines; in my opinion they have the best wines across their entire range of any winery in the Mudgee district (which is renowned for great wines and a plethora of vineyards/cellar doors). Cellar door premises are light and airy with plenty of parking outside, staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the whole experience is most enjoyable. Vinifera specialize in Spanish style wines, but not exclusively; make sure you schedule a visit when visiting NSW's beautiful "nest in the...

Great little winery offering Spanish grapes to try. They have a $15 tasting menu, with some good reds on offer. We really enjoyed their sparkling, Chardonnay, garnacha and tempranillo. The best thing is that their wines are organic. A truly unique offering in the whole region. They offer a grazing plate for $60 to have something with your wines, showcasing local produce, which was nice. Plus, it's next to a distillery, in case you want a break from wines and want to try gins or schnapps. Staff are efficient, friendly and professional. Definitely stop in. You won't walk out empty handed.

Very pleasurable experience here in VINIFERA Wines, Mudgee. Staff are very friendly and giving all the details about the Spanish desert wines. Great location for kids to play around and hang out with your friends. I love their variety of flavoured after-meal spirits! You wont regret visiting this vineyard. Will definitely recommended and I'll visit them again in spring!
