now national parks have gone and spent who knows how much to erect massive eye saw steel hoops to block the odd cyclist and and bunch of chopped up logs and trees around the edge to stop anyone going around god forbid.... Penalties apply... Steps have been installed for who knows what cant tell me its for erosion another great way to spend money...? Great improvement 👍

Read moreIf you enter the park via the road entrance you will eventually come to a beautifully maintained clearing with electric bbq's under shelter with ample seating and nearby toilets. The facilities are beautifully maintained. Sometimes we enter the park via the "back entrance" along Lyons Road and simply enjoy a peaceful bush walk down to the railway bridge and creek. I will give another star if the problem of creek litter can be dealt with, as I have snorkelled there and fished out many cans and bottles off the little pontoon swimming area.
