I recently visited the Coffs Harbour Butterfly House and had a good experience overall. The vibrant array of butterflies was truly captivating, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere. The facility is well-maintained, providing a suitable environment for these delicate creatures to thrive. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the opportunity to observe the butterflies up close and personal. The variety of species is impressive, and their vibrant colors make for a visually stunning display. It's a unique and educational experience that could be particularly engaging for children. The staff members were knowledgeable and eager to share insights about the different species, adding value to the visit. However, the overall size of the Butterfly House might be a bit limited for some visitors, and those seeking a more extensive collection might find it relatively small. Additionally, the entrance fee seemed a bit on the higher side, considering the size of the facility. While it's understandable that maintaining a suitable environment for butterflies requires investment, the pricing could be a deterrent for some visitors. On the positive side, the Butterfly House provides a peaceful escape into nature, and the educational aspect is commendable. It's a great opportunity for families with children to learn about these fascinating insects. The onsite cafe is a nice touch, offering refreshments and a place to relax after exploring the butterfly habitat. In conclusion, the Coffs Harbour Butterfly House offers a delightful experience, especially for families and nature enthusiasts. While there are some areas for improvement, the positive aspects, such as the variety of butterflies and knowledgeable staff, make it a worthwhile visit for those interested in the world of butterflies.

My wife and I both visited the butterfly house, We were excited to see the many butterflies that were boasted about on your website and social media but severely disappointed to see that nearly all of the butterflies that are advertised on there are nowhere to be found, there is nowhere displayed that says they no longer have many butterflies we saw what felt like three of the exact same butterflies the whole time. The dinosaur hatching room was a tacky cheap room with a fitted sheet and some plastic eggs, the maze was not anything to call home about and the wonderland experience seemed like they are just pulling at strings to stay open with any random items they can stick in there. Frankly the butterfly house is now a hoarders delight, disgusting and should be shut down because the butterfly enclosure is rank , mouldy and musky definitely not somewhere suitable for a child or anyone for that matter smelt like a health risk, And very humid. the dinosaur enclosure was absolutely a waste of time ,if you like walking in mud puddles and mosquito bites this is ideal for you. Definitely not worth the money or Going back there now after reading some of the other reviews I wish we had thought to do that prior to going. Definitely wish we didn’t go there and waste our money my wife grew up in Coffs Harbour and was really excited to go as she loved going as a kid because of ALL THE BUTTERFLIES. Frankly the replies to the customers about reporting them for defamation because they spoke freely about their experiences is alarming, obviously the owner does not know how to take criticism constructive or not and if this is all for her kids as she keeps saying it is maybe they should just shut the park down to the public because we were so disgusted we didn’t even want to buy food there. It’s called freedom of speech and frankly she should be reported for false advertisement because the things advertised definitely do not reflect the experience seems as though many people online agree as well as a many people we encountered who were disappointed whilst we were there as well. Look forward to the bitey response from the owner I wonder if they realise their responses to customers are only hurting their reputation...

We visited the butterfly house today with our almost 2.5yr old and what a wonderful morning we had!

From the moment we arrived, staff were welcoming & helpful. Ryan gave us a good rundown of where everything was located & times of the dinosaur shows.

I loved the butterfly house. There were so many butterflies & I could've sat watching them for hours. You can see the owners have put a lot of heart into the place with lots of attention to detail to try to create a magical/fantasy feel. My little one loved the fairy projections & the little fairy houses. He sat still enough for a butterfly to land on him too, which was a highlight.

Other highlights of our visit were the dinosaur shows & garden. I was really impressed with how many dinosaurs they had and that many were moving. They've also done a really good job with setting them up to give a Jurassic park feel. The dinosaur shows were cute & clever - I liked the link back to the butterfly fossils. I also thought the timing was great to accommodate nap time & the pinky show was so nice for little ones.

The Alice and Wonderland area was great too - the talking tree another highlight for my 2 year old.

Cheryl & Christine at the cafe were not only lovely, but also make great food. The scones are made on-site & are the best I've had in a long time. I'd also recommend the roast beef & gravy roll.

Overall, we had a great few hours visiting this morning & will definitely be back when we are next in Coffs Harbour. Definitely worth a stop if you've got kids or if you're young at heart!! Well done to the owners & team at the...
