Beautiful walk and recently cleared track so it's not overgrown. It's rates a Class 3 walk but that isn't accurate.
The last 300m or so to get to the falls is steep, slippery and washed away. Be very wary if it's wet. There is a handrail. Would not undertake that part if you have mobility Impairments, or balance difficulty.
Would reccomend bringing a walking stick to help navigate the wash away bits and good gripped shoes. We forgot ours so made one from a dead branch and left them for the next visitors.
The rest of the walk is pretty easy and flat. Many interesting plants. If you're not looking for a difficult walk, I'd turn around at the Forrest lookout. The walk is still worth doing even if you don't see the falls. Take your time to notice the...
   Read moreAn old fire look out tree. Replica hut of what used to be up the top of the tree is next to a small carpark and grassed area with a picnic table. The hut was well maintained and quite an interesting inclusion, with boards about the history and even the old phone used to call through when fires were sighted.
