Orange Mountain Estate wines — Attraction in Borenore

Located about 13km west of Orange, Orange Mountain Wines currently have 9 items available.

We tried one, we tried them all.

The chardonnay here is about the nicest I've had from anywhere - and there has been a few wineries visited here & in Europe over the years. Generally, we both drink red, but even Mrs likes this one.

The main item we dropped in for was the Cherry Liqueur, which the Mrs quickly developed a taste for. Soft & a little sweet, it's quite nice alone. If it wasn't the middle of winter, I'd imagine it on ice-cream - summer can't get here fast enough.

If you're visiting Orange or just traveling through, this is certainly one not to miss visiting - they open 0900 - 1500 Wed - Sun.

As always, the best wine is the one you like, regardless of anyone else's opinion.

Vintners Table October 2025 We enjoyed a degustation and wine pairing dinner as part of the Orange Wine Festival. Every single wine had its own features, we could not fault one. Viogniers, Reisling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Ice Wines & Cherry Liqueur. Terry and Julie are passionate about what they do and share stories and tales about how they got into wine making starting from the ground up. We came specifically to visit Orange Mountain Estate and we were not disappointed. It was worth the 5 hour drive to get here. If you ever see the degustation dinner advertised don’t miss it, it’s limited to 12 guests for an intimate and educational evening together. We had a tremendous experience at Orange Mountain Estate Wines. Chase was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wines, making the tasting both informative and enjoyable. It was a real treat to meet the owner, Terry, who kindly showed us around the winemaking area. It’s rare to visit a vineyard where every single wine you taste could easily come home with you.
