In a very short time I'd seen white-faced herron, wood ducks, a flock blue wren, magpie, cockatoo, fish (several unknown species), a wild bee hive, a western tiger snake, willy wagtail, eclectus parrot, mulga parrot, rainbow lorikeet, 28's and loads of different eucalyptus species, grevillea victoriae, grevillea olivacea, wisteria, melaleuca viminalis, onion grass (romulea rosea), Bermuda buttercup (oxalis pes-caprae), bottlebrush (Callistemon speciosus) and loads more besides. The gardens around the area are always kept so beautifully and are a credit to the gardener/s. Having the public toilet close by is always very handy and are also kept pretty clean. I believe there are farmers market on the weekend there, which I don't mind going to when I can remember they are on.
