Great spot for some energetic sand hill climbing with some stunning views from the top. The lone tree makes for some surreal photos surrounded by white sand and blue sky. Keep an eye out for painted rocks! Take a toboggan or boogie board and have some fun sand surfing on the way back. As others have stated just beware the go-slow zone from the 5m depth mark when coming in by boat. The beach is lovely to wander along and super safe for the kids to have a swim.

Great walk, maybe takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the top. On a clear day you can see for miles and landmarks like Fisherman island, Brisbane CDB high rises, and the Glasshouse Mountains. You need a 4x4 to access and avoid 2 or 3 hours either side of high tide. It's well worth the drive Tangalooma in the north or Kooriginal in the south.

Very rewarding view from the top of the sandhill after a tough climb. If arriving by boat, watch the tides and be aware of the go slow zone across...
