We did this walk on a overcast day. So unfortunately when we got to the top we didn't see alot. However the walk was nice, it took us approximately 1hr Return. From what we could see the view would have been pretty amazing. So try and aim for a nice day, but not to hot as this walk is alot of uphill climbing with quite a few stairs along the way. There is also a seat along the way and one right up the top that you can stop to have a break, so make sure you take a bottle of water.

Take the four wheel drive and head up middle road and take the Mount Tempest road turn off to the end of the driving track. From there it is about a 2.5 kilometre hike to the top of Mount Tempest, noted as the world's highest naturally formed sand dune at 285 meters above sea level. At the top you will find 360° views of Morton Bay and the Bay area including the Glass house mountains, Brisbane and on a clear day you should be able to see Flinders peak in Brisbanes west.

Subperb view of Moreton Island easy walk with kids about an 1 hour up and 30 mins down, would highly recommend. Not much parking. (Maybe 10 cars)If with a group be nice and park each other in to save spots for others.
