South Bruny NP is vast, varied and dramatic. Spectacular natural landscapes from The Fluted Cape walk on the Adventure Bay side right round to the Lighthouse side. Be sure to include a visit to Cloudy Bay too.
Please drive carefully and stick to the left as many visitors get a little laid back in paying attention. You could find yourself head on with another vehicle at a blind corner.
There is only one single toilet and a small car park at the Lighthouse so I recommend arriving early. Remember this is a National Park so if you don't have your parks pass already, drop into Inala Nature Tours on Cloudy Bay Road.
There are public toilets in Alonnah and Adventure Bay.
Some of my favourite parts of South Bruny are Mount Mangana and Mavista to see the native flora and walk amongst tall Fern Trees. This is Gondwana vegetation territory.
There are general stores in Alonnah and Adventure Bay. Fuel is only available at Adventure Bay.
Please drive very slow at night to avoid harm to native wildlife.
Enjoy this incredible part...
