Oh man... There aren't enough stars to rank them s place. We dined at Agostini's for a 70th birthday and the food was great, the matched wines delicious and the service outstanding. They were really good at catering for the whole family - kids menu was delicious pasta and gelato, those with special dietary requirements were well looked after and there was plenty of room for a pram too. The restaurant looks out over the vineyard and the view is just beautiful. The menu changes every few weeks too.
We stopped past the Celler door briefly but didn't really get a chance to savour that experience - with a fireplace and a few tables to sit at, I imagine it'd be a very easy place to pass a few hours while investing in some great wines.
I can't recommend it enough, absolutely worth a drive and taking your time to enjoy all they...
Read moreCellar door is probably not worth visiting even if you're nearby. $20 a tasting for 3 wines, and they pour the SMALLEST drops in the glass, and it's not redeemable on bottles. This is by far the worst tasting deal in the region.

Steer clear!
Edit: I can see the owners replied addressing the points. Great, but they haven't acknowledged that the deal is a rip off and the customer service was claustrophobic and strange. The outdoor area was also THICK with spider webs that had clearly been undisturbed for months/years, so I'm not sure why they suggest that option. I would still say...

I’ve been to over a hundred cellar doors in Australia and this is the first one I wouldn’t return to. The lady who does the tastings (also one of the owners) was so condescending, rude and patronising that it ruined our experience. She was less interested in talking about her wines than slagging other wine makers, wineries, wine regions and even patrons. When we asked about one of the awards they won we were told to just “Google it”.
The wine itself is average for the Canberra region but is overpriced for what you get.
The tasting costs $5/pp but is refundable on a purchase, which is not unheard of but rare in the region.
Even if you’ve been to every other winery in the area I’d still give...
