Magnificent place to be. I often drive here to just sit by myself to enjoy the scenery and wildlife. You may see wedge tail eagles, hawks and pelicans to name a few birds, and it is so quiet. There is a caravan park to stay, and a lot of the tracks around the lake are 4wd only which is great if you have a 4wd as you will likely have more space to yourself. It is full atm so there is a lot of water with shade right on the waters edge .There are plenty of fish ( carp ) but still good fun to catch . Seem to be quite a few permanent residents who carry on a bit. Tricky to find a grassy site but worth the effort to find a spot away from the permanents.
