Very hard to find this site of Aboriginal rock art. Almost no signs lead to the right place where you can see and explore the rock art on your own. Drive in the direction of Hearson’s Cove, then go right to Deep Gorge. The road becomes hard to drive on, better only go with a 4WD. Eventually two signs show you are at the right place and you start to walk onto the track to your left until you reach the rock piles (5 min max). Many small paintings and carvings to see, but not easy to walk around. It’s a shame that this place is not better signposted with more explanations or even a visitor’s centre offering tours. Do not go to Withnell Bay as suggested on the parks website (!?) as the driveway ends and there are signs that forbid trespassing. Really the worst signposted National Park we have come...
Read moreIf you’re looking for the rock art go to Nganjarli not here. This spot is the northern entrance to the park which is closed, but you don’t find out until you go down a 5km really rough 4WD track. This is all really poorly signposted and the parks website is not clear about it either. Really disappointed in WA Parks lack of investment in such a culturally important place. It’s almost like they want people to forget it’s here so the mines can expand. Sad to see big industry spouting out pollution right next to this...

So this hugely important site is visited and complemented not criticised. I know there is a big eye saw next door. Let’s work together and make this icon...
