Expect to see granite rocks in a pile, no remnants of machinery. We went end of September, getting a little warmer but definitely a little chilly still. Lots of seaweed in the shallows. Seems to be a good spot for fishing as we passed a few fishermen. Lots of families tabogganing on the sand hills. Pretty peaceful - flat waters. It’s a hundred meters from the carpark before you hit water down a single sandy path that only allows 2 way foot traffic. Recommend a carriage if you’re bringing a lot of things down with you.
