Expect to see granite rocks in a pile, no remnants of machinery. We went end of September, getting a little warmer but definitely a little chilly still. Lots of seaweed in the shallows. Seems to be a good spot for fishing as we passed a few fishermen. Lots of families tabogganing on the sand hills. Pretty peaceful - flat waters. It’s a hundred meters from the carpark before you hit water down a single sandy path that only allows 2 way foot traffic. Recommend a carriage if you’re bringing a lot of things down with you. There’s a staircase next to the quarry that will lead you to the pinnacles; heaps of signage with maps to help you out.

A good trail along the beach but be warned, it does smell of seaweed and due to trees falling from the cliffs, the path may be blocked and walking in the water might be the only way to get through.

Nice place, you can walk along the sand beach. Be aware it is tough to cross as there are falling trees when high tide.

Good walk down to the beach. The granite made the spot picturesque. Good walk along the beach too. High tide may make that walk inaccessible. There are signs warning about...
