This is one of the most underrated spectacular attraction in whole Australia. Please be mindful of the followings: 1- I have seen few snakes especially at the beginning. So be mindful of them. 2- the trail starts with a fire trail. It is a hard steep trail. Open to 4WD, but get closed on wet weather. So prepare to go on foot and it doubles the joy 3- there is no specific trail to valley of dinosaurs after fire trail ends. It goes through bushes. You need a map and gps. So, download a offline map from AllTrails 4- Have goggles or eyeglasses as chances are trees branches go to your eye and makes you blind. You have to pass through them to reach beginning of the valley. And yes, when you see the right path. Suddenly valley of dinosaurs opens to you and here you get a goosebump

Solid hike and definitely worth the effort. If you are lucky enough to have a very good 4WD with good clearance then tackle the track up, otherwise it's a very steep walk on the fire track from the valley. Stick with Alltrails for mapping as it's easy to get lost. The valley is amazing and you really feel like you are one of very few people to experience this area. Take plenty of water and snacks. Worth the effort 😃

Amazing place to see with Amazing 4x4 tracks. Will definitely return again one day. Would recommend a 4x4 some tracks are super steep. A few camp grounds in a different section at the top of the mountain. All in all though it blew me away with its beauty, did not expect it to be what it is!

Short and punchy walk. Starting with mountain ridge views, you get to a slot, to the grotto, through a fern valley and finishing off with dramatic views from a risky cliff edge. Possibly the best views this close to sydney. Only complain is that the tracks are not well formed as it is not exactly a highly visited track. There are often times I could have gotten lost if not for sheer luck I spotted signs or other people who pointed...
