The dam is lovely. A lot of room to camp both the trees side and no trees side. I paddled on it for a week and only saw four boats. Weekends it can get pretty busy especially in Spring and Summer. Blayney is not far away if you need to top up with groceries. It is listed as having a shower but it only had a hole in the wall where the shower used to be.
