The Cardwell Spa Pool is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the sheer natural beauty of the place. It's unfortunate about the amount of cane toad tadpoles in there. It would not take a huge effort by the management of the area to have someone attend with a net and reduce the numbers that would make it beyond tadpole stage.
I recommend visiting this lovely little spot during the weekdays as there a way too many humans there on the weekends.
As with any natural flowing water source, take note of the weather as the likely hood of changing conditions will affect the flow. So be mindful of this.
Please take out what you take in. Your mother is not here to clean up after you.
Take care on the rocks as they can be naturally slippery.
Don't become a burden on the emergency services.
