Hidden gem enroute from Hobart to Cradle mountain on A5 highway. I strongly recommend take a stopover to enjoy this scenic path connecting the pine lake. Beautifully made path of wooden with lush green plants and native trees which are found only in Tasmania. The view of trees, mountain and lake is mind blowing. The best part it’s not crowded, when we visited there were only 5-10 more people, hence better chance of getting nice pictures and you can enjoy in leisure time;)

It is a great short walk that teaches you some significant history of the highlands area. It's quite a marvellous environment to explore and no doubt in the summer maybe a little but more suitable to enjoy, although the conditions up here can be just as cold and wintery in the summer as per the signs and information provided.
