I recommend taking the walking path from the caravan park to Thirsty Point lookout which is paved for quite a way then follow the sandy tracks to Hansen Bay lookout and then on to Lake Thetis Stromatolites and then back to the van park via the road to close the loop. It’s a 7.5 km walk roughly although we didn’t circumnavigate the lake as it was national park and we had our dogs on leads with us. The Hansen Bay Lookout gives a great 360 degree views, of the ocean, the beautiful green hills (plenty of rain recently) and the town.

Not far out of Cervantes, nice little walk after going to the lobster shack. Oh, n on the same road take a look at the little lake on the left as Ur driving into the lookout. Very ruff dirt road after turning off to lake to see the lookout, plus a steep walk and steps to lookout.

The view from the lookout was gorgeous. So much uninterrupted nature, however it was quite a basic walk up and the drive to the lookout could be improved as you have to go down a wide dirt road which I don’t think many cars are properly equipped for

Good view both of the Cervantes Coast line and Hansen Bay as well as the Inland. A little club with some Aboriginal education how they were able to repurpose their environment for told and food. Good 15 minutes spend and some nice photos. Hold on to your hat when the...
