Nice park around. Good playground for kids. Didn’t catch any fish but got turtle in hook once. Good walk around the lake. There is one bbq plate and few covered benches around bbq area. It was very very windy when we were there. There is only one toilet so if busy it quiet a wait for your turn.

Lake hyland is great to visit for many reasons. Bbq and toilet facilities. Great walking track all the way around the lake, kids playground, bbq areas and all abilities toilet facilities. There are fishing platforms around the lake that I've often seen families fishing from. There is ample parking, quite a few water birds inhabit the lake including ducks, cormorants, water hens...
