Great walks, easy hikes. Bold Park is the grand sister park to Perry Lakes Reserve. Only separated by Perry Lakes Drive, both have easy accessibility to each other.

Bold park is a series of walking trails around hills and valleys, at the bottom of the near the car parks on Perry Lakes Drive, there is access to several toilets near playgrounds (look for the buildings near playground), and picnic areas within the reserve.

Within Bold Park itself, there are several benches and lookouts. Many areas of the park feature a spectacular and impressive view of the Perth CBD in the distance, as well as the ocean on the opposite side. A few areas with views are accessible from other entrances and car parks.

Dogs are meant to be kept on leashes at all times and it is wise to stay on the path.

At every intersection, there is clear path signage which makes the journey easy to meander along and enjoy at your own pace.

This park is definitely a hidden gem if you’re not a local. Highly recommend walking in winter and into the spring season as everything is beautifully green...

Bruh this place is soooooooooooo amazing. It's the perfect place to go on a trip. It's close to the beach so you can walk ten minutes and be in a completely different landscape, I think that's quite beautiful and so convienant especially for an area that is close to the city.

I went on a Friday in January this year and stayed for a few hours in the afternoon. I only walked past about four people and they were all so nice just chilling too doing some walking. Walked probably for two hours in total with a couple sitting breaks. So yeah there are a bunch of nice benchs to sit on cause the benches were placed in some spots along the trail for people to sit on if they feel like sitting. The trails were comfortable and easy to walk on. There's maps to help you choose which trails you want to walk.

The wildlife all around including the trees and plants along with the birds and stuff make for a really genuine and loving experience of nature. I love this place come visit...

If you're up for a walk through a challenging nature reserve this is the place for you. The near constant change in elevation and turning paths keep the walk interesting. You will also be rewarded by interesting trivia boards and grand vistas of the city and coast line at set points. If you have little ones in a pram, this will be really challenging as not all the path ways are sealed. Yes, I tried -- not doing that again. If you're going with a furry friend, keep in mind that there are no bins on the track -- which, needless to say, is the safest place to be as the bush can be quite dense in places and the slopes quite steep. Is it good for a bike ride? I've seen the lycra crews on push bikes going up and down the few sealed paths there are, but the majority of unsealed paths through the scrub, I think it makes this a park for walkers. Well worth a visit for something different right in the middle...

A great native park with walking trails perfect for a stroll or jog, parking at various points, and areas with a beautiful view over the beach and surrounding suburbs. If you're new to the park, it's best to take a look at the map before you embark so you not only know where you parked but can also plan the length of the trail you choose as some can be quite long before you return to your point of origin and the path can have a few hills to trek through. Other than the largely unsealed footpaths and the odd park bench, it's undeveloped to preserve the natural habitat so be prepared to take what you need and leave with what you take in.
