The reopening of the Museum is a testament to the people who started the original and those who persevered to ensure that it would reopen. I was amazed to see the Blair Athol Collection on display. Many of these objects were familiar to me in my position as Town Supervisor for Blair Athol Coal from 1983 to 1993, having arranged for Del Newport to do the paintings and for the taking of the still photographs and albums that are on display. Many of the items from the BAC Guest House were carefully chosen by the Japanese companies who donated them and it is pleasing to see that they are now on display...
