A Must Do. Between Biggenden and Ban Ban Springs. Signpost easy to miss if travelling from Biggenden as entry is just around a bend and sign is set back. There are two extinct volcanoes. You can drive about half way up and walk the rest of the way. Beautiful views. Then a track to the right leads up to the second volcano. Although the name ‘lakes’ defies reality, there probably is water there in heavy prolonged rain. It would be great to see.

A rough climb to the top, but so worth it. Great views. With Australia still in drought it is very dry, but I can't wait to climb it again to see it full of water. The climb was about a 20 minute slow up hill walk. It was very stoney and there was lots of loose gravel.

Poor maintenance means the potential for this hike goes unrealised. Nice view from the picnic table but the "trail" down to the lake was little more than an overgrown goat track, too dangerous to navigate with certainty and causing me to change my mind after 50 metres.

Great place. Short 2 hour walk up to the lookout and down into the two craters/lakes. No water when we went, However, still interesting and a nice walk. Two fairly new bird hides were great to stop and sit for a bit. Track was easy to follow, it is one way so requires backtracking. The views from the top of the ridges were the best part. No facilities available here (water/toilets etc.). We would come for a...

Very disappointed in the lack of signage and not very well maintained. While it is understood weather dependent if water in there, the signage was that poor positioned we needed to turn around which was not easy or safe. Better signage and advance warning would be a...
