Found this pristine and delightful spot along the Collie River during a recent visit to Collie. Just 3 minutes from town. It is stunningly beautiful, the birdlife is varied and very friendly. There is a family of inquisitive Magpies who are not camera shy! Despite the day being overcast and a bit drizzly it was a lovely spot to visit and have a cuppa. Very peaceful and calming. Explored the different sections along the river - lots of grassed areas and so many spots to have a picnic. Ample provision of seating to enjoy the river views and some roofed shelters as well. Read moreSuch a lovely spot which isn't far from town at all! The water is clean, clear and a good temperature. There are plenty of sandy spots to launch kayaks and paddle boards and not feel like you are encroaching on other people's space.
