A true dream for any Holden, Ute, Art, Australia, History Sight Seeing fanatic!!! Originally compromised of 20 Holden Ute's in order of timeline from the 1952 FX to the 1993 VS, this art gallery will bring a joyice tear to your eye. As these artworks have been moved from their original location, unfortunately only 18 are on display with 2 presumably removed (EH & HK) for unknown reasons. Of the 18 vehicles is a HZ waiting to be painted (contact Lachlan Shire if interested). The site is a clear work in progress & a sure fire way to put Condobolin on every tourists roadmap, I emplore everyone to do so (to get the real Australian experience or close to it)! I look forward to seeing what has come of it when I drive another 5hrs to visit this spectacle that I've described as "The most Australian thing ever!" Read moreAn amazing display of utes, but like you’ve never seen them before! There were 20 utes to see, an easy flat walk between them all. My favourites were the camel ute, the Bundy rum ute, and the dunny ute! All made with great humour and great artistry.
My only suggestion for improvement is to have some seats in the shade so we could sit and enjoy the utes - there were lots of benches, but no shade or rain cover.
