Stunning location but poor service on 2 occasions.
I’ve visited the lavender farm twice now. I cannot get enough of the gardens and the surroundings. Absolutely worth the visit. And the gift shop is a lovely edition too.
Unfortunately on both occasions me and my family have had a bad experience with the service provided for making purchases and ordering food.
The tall blonde-haired lady was involved on both occasions. There is no sense of urgency when they run behind. My sister was left standing at the counter to make a purchase for nearly 15 minutes after the lady just walked off to go do something else and a huge queue formed behind her. And no apology or explanation on her return.
And the second time round we ordered only 2 servings of lavender scones which took 40mins to be ready with no explanation and only an apology from a younger girl. But the older lady likes to run off and hide when you try to talk to her and ask for an update on your food.
In summary, stunning place. But need more staff from what I can tell and a better system to accomodate the amount of people wanting to come through to enjoy the...

We ordered some lavender scones and tea which were absolutely delicious, and sitting outside we really felt like we’d been thrown into a fairy wonderland. The shop areas inside were huge and had so many wonderful items that would make great gifts and there was some really incredible art for sale! The staff were very friendly and helpful, we wanted to stay all day! There’s plenty of plants on sale for very affordable prices and I bought a lovely perennial plant that has continued to grow very happily in my house. Highly recommend this place for a visit- I’ll definitely be...
Read moreOn the outskirts of Kingaroy, this is a popular place for tourist as well as locals.
The house is a delightful structure and everywhere there are garden beds full of flowers which at the time we visited were in full bloom.
Inside we found oodles of cosmetic lotions, as well as decorative ornaments and paintings.
Felt it was little bit disorganised. Or perhaps, being a Saturday, it was a busy day. Although people were wanting to buy things, there seemed to be no one to serve them. Similarly, although we saw small tables all over the place, with people enjoying their cups of tea or coffee, we didn’t see where you went to order.
However, even if you’re just looking, it’s a very attractive...
