Good area for walks with the dog, quite large. Just be aware, it is possible to lose ones direction on the various tracks, there is no signage at all (use the mobile phone tower at the golf course for orientation). We have come across Tiger snakes there and there is plenty of Kangaroos in and along the golf course, best to keep dogs on the leash! Good for push bike riding as well but some tracks are quite sandy, be prepared to push or carry the bike at times. It is possible to ride through from the northern end to Safety Bay road but there is few outlets in the fence at that end. The best outlet is opposite Rockingham Salt Lakes Car Park (near Warnbro Sation), from there the bike path along Safety Bay Road can be accessed. From the northern end, the best access point is just past the Rockingham Hospital and before the golf course, where there is a small designated car park.
